How a dog named Hachi, teaches us how to be human again

I WATCHED A MOVIE LAST NITE "HACHI ,A DOGS TALE" HAD ME CRYING BUCKETS OF TEARS

I CRIED SO MUCH, NOT JUST OUT OF SADNESS FOR HACHI, BUT BECAUSE WE HUMANS, HAVE GOTTEN TO THE POINT OF NON HUMANESS, SO MUCH SO, THAT IT TAKES A DOG NAME HACHI TO REMIND US ONCE AGAIN, HOW TO BE HUMAN

THE MOVIE WAS ABOUT A DOG NAMED  HACHI, HAVE U SEEN IT?
I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL THE END IT WAS ABOUT A REAL DOG IN JAPAN.
BUT THE STORY WAS ABOUT THIS DOG THAT WAS SENT FROM A BUDDHIST MONK TO A FRIEND IN AMERICA,WELL CAT GOT LOST IN TRAVEL POINTS AND HIM AND CAGE FALL OUT OF TRAIN, THIS WAS SET IN 40'S I THINK, ANYWAY THIS PROFESSOR FINDS HIM AND TAKES HIM HOME AT FIRST WIFE DIDN'T WANT HIM TO KEEP THE DOG, BUT SHE GAVE IN,FIRST THING HE DID WAS TRY TO TEACH HACHI TO FETCH BUT HE NEVER WOULD LEARN, HE ASKED HIS KARATI TEACHER WHY THE DOG WOULD NOT LEARN TO FETCH, KARATI TEACHER SAID, HE DOES NOT HAVE A REASON, WHEN HE DOES HE WILL LEARN, BUT HACHI HATED BEING AWAY FROM PROFESSOR, SO EVERYDAY WHEN PROFESSOR WENT TO WORK, HE WOULD TRY TO GET THE DOG TO STAY IN YARD SO HE LOCKED GATE, BUT HACHI WANTED TO BE WITH HIM, SO AFTER PROFFESSOR WOULD LEAVE FOR WORK, EVERYDAY SNOW OR SUNSHINE, HE WOULD OPEN GATE AND GO SIT IN SMALL PART IN FRONT OF TRIAN TERMINAL,ALL THE VENDORS AND LOCALS GOT TO KNOW AND LOVE HACHI, AND  HE WOULD BE THERE WAITING FOR THE PROFESSOR WHEN HE GOT OFF COMUTER TRAIN, AND THEY WOULD GO HOME, WELL ABOUT FIVE YEARS LATER, WHEN PROFESSOR WAS GETTING READY TO GO TO WORK, HACHI DECIDED TO GET THE BALL FOR FIRST TIME A FETCH, THE PROFESSOR COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HE DID THIS, BUT EACH TIME HE TRIED TO LEAVE HACHI WOULD KNOCK BALL AWAY AND GO FETCH IT, SO PROFESSOR LOCKED GATE AND LEFT, AND HACHI AS HE HAD DONE FOR FIVE YEARS, WENT TO PARK IN FRONT OF TERMINAL, AND WAITED FOR TRAIN TO BRING PROFESSOR HOME THAT DAY PROFESSOR DID NOT COME, HE DIED THAT DAY, HIS LAST THOUGHTS WERE OF HACHI, TRYING TO WARN HIM BY FETCHING THE BALL, SO HACHI WAITED AND WAITED, HE SAT THERE FOR DAYS AND DID NOT MOVE, VENDORS FED HIM AND TRYED TO TELL HIM HACHI, HE IS NOT COMING BACK, SO HACHI WENT SOMEWHERE FOR THE NIGHT BUT EACH DAY AT 5 O'CLOCK HE WOULD BE AT PARK, WAITING FOR THE PROFESSOR HE DID THIS EVERYDAY, FOR NINE YEARS, WHEN IT WAS SNOWING, COLD, RAINY OR HOT HE WOULD BE THERE EACH DAY AT 5, AS THE YEARS WENT BY, IT TOOK HACHI LONGER TO GET TO PARK BY 5 FROM HIS SLEEPING SPOT HE WENT TO EACH NITE UNDER A ABANDONED TRAIN, BUT HE DID IT, THEN ONE DAY, TRAIN WAS APPROACHING AND HACHI DIED, DOING WHAT HE ALWAYS DID, WAIT FOR HIS BEST FREIND THE PROFESSOR..

NOW THERE IS MAYBE NO HUMAN THAT WOULD DO THIS, SO WHAT DOES IT SAY THAT A DOG WOULD, AND CHRISTAINS SAY DOGS DON'T HAVE SOULS, WELL THEN THEY NEVER HEARD OF HACHI///

HERE IS THE REAL HACHI STORY

Hachiko - Shibuya Station

Hachiko - Shibuya StationHachiko is a famous statue of a dog who possessed legendary loyalty to his owner. It is also the name of one of the many exits from Shibuya Station and the prime meeting place before a night out. Just hanging out near Hachiko for a while will give you some great people-watching opportunities.

Hachiko belonged to
Professor Ueno Saburo’s, who loved Hachi a lot. Hachi  always went to see the master off and wait for his return at the Shibuya station everyday even in terrible weather. After the Professor's death, Hachi continued to wait at the station for his master's return.Statue of Hachiko - the faithful dog.

BUT THIS IS WHAT HACHI TAUGHT ME...
Hachi's story is a beautiful testimont to love and loyalty, patience, and enduring friendship. But it can  be seen from a spiritual vievpoint, as we yearn as Hachi did with his master,  to stay connected with our loved ones and Creator.
We identify with Hachi and feel compassion for him, especially in his later years, because we, too, know what it means to be separated from our loved ones. He remembers what it was like to be connected to and in constant communion with his beloved not master but friend,. How can we be like  that again? Try showing up day after day with love and devotion to our loved ones, our country, our fellow human biengs and  to our Creator, then we can be like Hachi, a dogs that teaches how to be human...

The Truth About KKKillumbus and Columbus Day

The Truth About Columbus"Examining the reputation of Christopher Columbus"

Christopher Columbus' reputation has not survived the scrutiny of history, and today we know that he was no more the discoverer of America than Pocahontas was the discoverer of Great Britain. Native Americans had built great civilizations with many millions of people long before Columbus wandered lost into the Caribbean. Columbus' voyage has even less meaning for North Americans than for South Americans because Columbus never set foot on our continent, nor did he open it to European trade. Scandinavian Vikings already had settlements here in the eleventh century, and British fisherman probably fished the shores of Canada for decades before Columbus. The first European explorer to thoroughly document his visit to North America was the Italian explorer Giovanni Caboto, who sailed for England's King Henry VII and became known by his anglicized name, John Cabot. Caboto arrived in 1497 and claimed North America for the English sovereign while Columbus was still searching for India in the Caribbean. After three voyages to America and more than a decade of study, Columbus still believed that Cuba was a part of the continent of Asia, South America was only an island, and the coast of Central America was close to the Ganges River.
Unable to celebrate Columbus' exploration as a great discovery, some apologists now want to commemorate it as the great "cultural encounter." Under this interpretation, Columbus becomes a sensitive genius thinking beyond his time in the passionate pursuit of knowledge and understanding. The historical record refutes this, too.

Why American Indians do not celebrate KKKillumbus Day

It's Columbus Day - Why American Indians are not celebrating KKKillumbus Day.

"We shall take you and your wives, and your children, and shall make slaves of them, and we shall take away your goods, and shall do you all the mischief and damage that we can, and we protest that the deaths and losses which shall accrue from this are your fault ." - Christopher Columbus
Each October children in classrooms around the nation will dutifully recite their Columbus Day "facts": the ships ("the NiNa, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria."), the year ("In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue..."), and even the fruit that the explorer thought best resembled the Earth (that would be the orange ). Our national leaders take time out of their busy schedules - raising money and covering up scandals - to commemorate the man who "found" America.
Of course by now many of us know that Columbus was not the first European to sail to North America - a Viking did that nearly 500 years earlier - and that the arrival of the Spanish empire wasn't exactly a blessing to the hemisphere. What many of us don't know, and what many more of us willfully ignore, is what Columbus really was the first to do on our side of the pond.
Christopher Columbus, you see, was a slave trader, a gold digger, a missionary, and even a war profiteer in the name of Ferdinand and Isabella. The arrival of Columbus's small fleet on what is now San Salvador (that's Spanish for "Holy Savior") was greeted by the "decorous and praiseworthy" Taino Indians (Columbus's words) and was followed almost immediately by mass enslavement, amputation for sport, and a genocide that claimed over four million people in four years. That's quite a saving.
His arrival also marked the beginning of 500 years of imperialism, enslavement, disease, genocide, and a legacy of impoverishment and discrimination that our nation is only beginning to come to terms with. Today American Indians lack adequate healthcare and housing, receive pitiful education, face daunting barriers to economic opportunity, and see their lands (that would be the whole of the continent) overrun with pollution and big business.
Columbus Day has been celebrated as a federal holiday since 1971, making it the first of only two federal holidays to honor a person by name. The other celebrates the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
It isn't Christopher Columbus and the conquistadors, though, that resemble the selflessness of the Rev. King and the best traditions of the American ideal. From the hospitality of the Taino Indians toward Columbus's crew, on which he remarked at length in his diaries, to the generosity of the Wampanoag in sharing their traditional feast with the Pilgrims, the history and tradition of Indian cultures have characterized the values of a plural and welcoming community. Even today American Indians proudly serve a country that has given them so little and taken so much.
A disproportionate number of young men and women fight and die for our country and for the constitution (based on the Iroquois Confederacy) that did so little to protect their own freedoms. Lori Piestewa, a Hopi soldier, became the first Indian woman to die in combat for the US military, when her convoy - famous for her friend Jessica Lynch - was ambushed outside Nasiriyah, Iraq. Her memory, like the sacrifices of so many of our Indians, is too often forgotten or obscured by the mass media and the gener al public.
So today we honor their sacrifices. We honor the dedication of American Indians to the best aspirations of people everywhere, the commitment to democracy, to the constitution, and to the right to vote. And we honor the generosity and selflessness of our best Americans, especially those tribes that greeted our nation's first immigrants with curiosity and open arms.
While many people, including the entire federal workforce, take Monday off for Columbus Day, INDN's List will be hard at work protecting the rights of Indians everywhere. We believe in this democracy everyone ought to have a right to vote, a right to run for office and a voice to be heard. Please continue supporting our work and our candidates, and lodge your protest of Columbus Day by contributing to INDN's List on "his" day.

The United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) has announced that it will consider drafting protocols for what to do when we finally make contact with extra-terrestrial civilizations in space. What's prompting the UN to consider this possibility is the fact that astronomers are expected t...

A space ambassador could be appointed by the United Nations to act as the first point of contact for aliens trying to communicate with Earth.

Betty RoundHead Well as a Native American and a Indigo, I have always known that I was a child of the Star People and that God or Creator was a Alien from the planet Heaven, and now Scientist and Astrophysicist and even our very own US Government and all Govements in the UN, are having to prepare to admit the truth they have always to...ld us was a lie, that there have always been Aliens here, are here now and will be coming in great numbers in near future. That is why they had to Create a Office of Alien Affairs at the UN and appoint an Anbassador to meet them when they come..My last laugh will be on all these unbelievers that called us wacko's when they were lying about UHO'S all along..SO I await 2012 for that is when the Mayan's predict a paradigm that will change everything we thought we knew, and the Star People coming in great numbers landing on White House lawn, I think that would bring a great paradigm to the world....

अ डिवोर्स फॉर सेंत तो में बी अ कांसेर्वतिवे तो में अ लिबरल, इ विल अग्री तो थिस DIVORCE

WELL SINCE I AM ONE OF THESE BLOODY LIBERALS,FORMER HIPPIE, AND ANIT Wआर
SINCE I AM ALL THESE THINGS, I THANK MY BROTHER IN LAW FOR THIS DIVORCE AGREEMENT, I WILL MAKE SURE TO USE IT WHEN I DIVORCE THE ONES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS AGREEMENT, THE REDNECKS AND CAPITALIST PIGS AND NON HUMANATARIAN REPUBLICANS, AND SARAH PALINS OF THE WORLD, WHO START WARS KNOWING THIER RICH COLLEGE EDUCATED KIDS WANT BE FIGHTING IN THEM, THOSE WHO MAKE BILLIONS OFF THE BACKS OF POOR AND THEN WHINE LIKE BABIES WHEN WE FIGHT FOR A SHARE OF THE PIE WE MADE AND FOR THE SAME PEOPLE THAT STOLE THE LAND FROM US NATIVE AMERICANS, DID GENOCIDE ON US,THEN TRY TO INSIMULATE US AND MAKE US WHITE LIKE THEY DID THE BLACKS AND THEN YELL TO THE RAFTERS AND GO TO WAR TO OTHER COUNTRIES FOR DOING EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS THEY DID TO US NATIVE AMERICANS,LATINO'S AND BLACKS IN THIS COUNTRY..
THEY SAY THEY ARE THE CHRISTAIN RIGHT, THE MORAL MAJORITY, IF THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF CHRISTAINITY THEY CAN KEEP IT BECAUSE I CANNOT SERVE A GOD THAT COULD ALLOW THEM TO DO WHAT THEY DID TO US TO GET THIS LAND AND THE ATROCIOUS THINGS THEY DO TO KEEP IT..
HERE IS WHAT MY BROTHER IN LAW SENT, I WANT THIS DIVORCE FROM THE REPUBLICAN, SARAH PALINS AND ALL OTHERS ON OPPOSITE SIDE OF LIBERALS..
DIVORCE AGREEMENT Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way. Here is a model separation agreement: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.
We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.
You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.
You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them. We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal*Mart and Wall Street.
You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks.
We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood . You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security. We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.
You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McLain.
You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill. We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find. You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.
We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem." I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World". We'll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag. Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years. Sincerely, John J. Wall Law Student and an American
